Yoco offers the lowest published standard in-person local card transaction fees among the leading non-bank providers assessed in South Africa. Rates depend on monthly card turnover, card type and Yoco plan.
You pay 2.30% on in-person local card payments, dropping to 1.2% on debit once you go over R50,000 a month. Other providers charge 2.50% to 2.75% over the same range.
Yes. Your Yoco rate drops as soon as your monthly card turnover goes over R50,000. Above R200,000 a month you qualify for custom rates. There is nothing to apply for.
