Choose Khumo 2 if a digital receipt by SMS, email or QR code does the job. Both take the same payments and cost the same per sale, so the printer is the only real decision.
Yes. Khumo 2 and Khumo Print 2 are complete card machines on their own. There is no phone to pair, no app to keep open on the side and no Bluetooth connection to drop mid-sale. You take the payment on the device itself, and the sale is recorded there.
Yes. Both machines come with unlimited 4G built in at no extra data cost, so they connect on their own. Wi-Fi is there if you want it. At a market stall, a delivery door or a table outside, the machine stays connected without a hotspot, a data bundle or a separate SIM contract.
Both machines accept tap, chip and swipe payments from major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, as well as supported SASSA cards.
Customers can also pay contactlessly with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay. There’s nothing extra to activate or set up, and every payment is automatically included in the same sales history and reporting.
Yes. Your rate sits on your Yoco account, not on the device, so a sale costs you the same whether you take it on Khumo 2 or Khumo Print 2. Paying more for the printer does not change what you keep per sale.

No. You buy the machine once and it is yours. Khumo 2 is R699 and Khumo Print 2 is R1,499, both once-off, with no monthly rental, no contract and no connectivity fee.
The free software is included on both, so the machine that takes the payment also keeps your product list, your staff profiles and a record of what sold. Turn that on when you are ready.
Khumo Print 2. The thermal printer is built in, so there is no separate printer to buy, charge or connect.
