The biggest launch of the year was Yoco Counter, our all-in-one POS and payments solution designed to replace the complexity of juggling multiple tools.

Alongside the launch of Yoco Counter, 2025 saw a series of software upgrades designed to make everyday selling easier.

Saved orders and split payments were introduced on Khumo and Khumo Print. That’s helped teams move between customers seamlessly during busy periods and keep track of what’s been paid — and what hasn’t.

Behind the scenes, we introduced new modifiers that gave merchants more control at checkout. Whether it’s toppings, add-ons, or special requests, custom menu options now help teams serve up to 55% faster and upsell more naturally.

For business owners on the move, the new iPhone widget makes it easier to keep an eye on sales, staff performance, and product insights directly on your lock screen.

Together, these updates reduced admin time and helped teams focus on what matters most: serving customers.

Built to scale with you

As businesses scale, complexity tends to grow with them. In 2025, Yoco introduced tools to help merchants stay in control as their operations expand.

This includes ‘Locations’, which enables you to spot trends faster by allowing you to track stock and sales by location. We also released new accounting integrations first with Xero, then QuickBooks, which sync your sales straight to your accounting partner of choice, eliminating manual exports and delays. And we didn’t stop there, we also integrated with Bookem, helping you get from booked to banked without the admin.

On the customer side, QR receipts and smart digital receipts offer a modern, speedy, paperless experience by sending receipts fast and getting your queues moving even faster.
